To be eligible for GACC registration, an overseas food manufacturer must meet the following requirements:

1. The food safety management system of the exporting country/region has passed GACC’s equivalence assessment.

2. The establishment is approved and supervised by the competent authority of the exporting country/region.

3. An effective food safety and hygiene management system is in place, ensuring compliance with Chinese laws, regulations, and food safety standards.

4. The establishment complies with the inspection and quarantine requirements agreed upon between GACC and the competent authority of the exporting country/region.
